Wedding Video

Filed under: Irish Wedding Video — admin @ 8:04 pm

You may recognize this familiar wedding scene: the mother of the bride smiles at her daughter, who is carefully placing her veil on top of her head. The groom is shaking the hand of his soon to be father-in-law. The couple exchange vows, kiss for the first time as husband and wife, and make their rounds to two hundred friends and family members. Before they know it, the day has come and gone and they can’t believe it went so fast. While they enjoy the events of their wedding day, they trust a wedding videographer to record each moment from the flower bouquets to the look on their guests face when they become husband and wife. They depend on a beautifully crafted wedding video.

When the big day has passed and the bride and groom have become husband and wife, the wedding videographer has recorded it all, with no detail of the big day too small to be forgotten. The role of the wedding videographer is to capture each and every moment, from the wedding cake to the wedding party, from the bride putting on her veil to the groom’s parents laughing over a slow dance. The wedding video captures the toasts, the bride walking down the aisle, the tearful guests. Most of all the wedding video allows the bride and groom to watch their big day again and again, as if it never passed.
If we fast forward a couple of years chances are this couple, like many others will have trouble remembering each moment of the big day unless of course, they have their wedding video to watch. While photographs of the bride and groom are important for any couple, it is the wedding video that allows each and every moment of their wedding to be watched and enjoyed time after time.

Unlike a wedding photographer, the videographer has a much different role. He captures every important moment of the bride, groom and wedding party but without disrupting the ceremony or guests. A video allows the couple’s wedding to be created all over again, to remember moments they may have forgotten over the years, and allows the couple to feel as though time has stood still. A good wedding video delivers this to you but a great wedding video allows you to fall in love each time you watch your wedding, whether it’s your one year anniversary, an out of the blue romantic evening or you just feel like recapturing your wedding day for the sake of it.

While there are many wedding videographers in the business, not many have the professionalism that DC Media has. Furthermore, there is only one who encompasses it all and more and with one objective in mind: to make your video an original piece of work that you can enjoy over and over again. With an unique artistic skill, dedication and passion for your wedding day, Irish Wedding Films of DC Media will exceed your expectations and deliver only the best for your wedding day.

Wedding Videographer – Opt for the best!

The wedding videographer that you hire must adhere to certain types of behaviors to do his job well and to make sure that the wedding video is the best that it can possibly be. After all, this wedding will never happen again, and you will never have this day to live over again. The DVD must be done well so that you do not lose a single memory or moment from this glorious day.

So, what do you look for when you are trying to find the best wedding videographer to hire for your own special day?

First, look for someone who has experience. While it is true that everyone must start somewhere, it should not necessarily be on your wedding day. Sure, there are going to be some prodigies that will have a picture perfect first DVD, but those are few and far between.

Don’t settle for shaky camera and fuzzy audio; insist on the best for your own video. Experience does not always mean that the person who has been doing this for the longest is the best person for the job- someone could have been taking wedding videos or photographs for twenty years and still has not figured it out. Which brings us to our second quality, to look for in the right wedding videographer – expertise!

After working for years in the industry, some people will have gathered special skills and education that gives them the competitive edge; others will only do what they can do to get by. Look for those videographers who have high regard from those who have used their services.

Finally, look for an artistic flair from your wedding videographer. Doing this job requires far more than simply pointing a camera in the right direction- there is framing and other considerations to keep in mind as well. A good videographer such as DC Media has all three qualities, experience, expertise and artistic appeal to make the best wedding video possible. With Irish Wedding Films on your side, you have nothing to worry about where your wedding DVD is concerned.

Wedding Videography: Blending into the Crowd

When you hire someone to do your wedding videography, you are not inviting another guest, nor are you looking for someone to run the show. What you want is someone to do their job in the least intrusive manner possible, without interrupting the ceremony or disrupting the guests. You do not want your guests to feel uneasy because a camera is in their faces, nor do you want twenty minutes of what amounts to your cousin Niamh’s “audition” reel as she mugs for the camera. You want someone who will blend in and be completely out of the way, capturing the pure and unadulterated emotion of the day.

Wedding videography is not an afterthought, not just an extra that you think of at the last moment. To ensure that you will have the best person for the job, it is highly advisable that you book as soon as you have confirmed all of the necessary details. Having a well shot, well edited video is a loving and lovely reminder of your special day and can be a cherished moment that you share on your anniversary for years to come.

The person who does your wedding videography must be highly trained with an artistic eye to catch all of the precious details that will make your video even more special to you. No one else can ever have the same wedding that you did- it can never be recreated at all. No matter what happens in the rest of your life, this one special day should be captured perfectly and wonderfully so that it will live on forever on a special, one of a kind DVD.

Irish wedding video company

How To Choose The Best Irish Wedding Video Company

When you are hiring someone to film your wedding, there are several things you should keep in mind. You do not want to just hire the first person with a camera, after all. The Irish wedding video company should be experienced and established, and should have the most technically advanced equipment available.

They should not be only technically proficient, but artistically talented as well, because shooting a wedding is not the same as shooting a documentary or filming a few minutes of a mountain stream. A wedding is almost like a living creature, filled with emotions and action that must be captured by an expert, artistic eye.

The Irish wedding video company that you hire should know what it takes to edit a first class wedding video- the sound must be crisp and clear, the video flawless. There should be no shaking scenes or jostling movements. The picture that you see should flow along as if it were actually unfolding right before your very eyes, the first time, the fiftieth time- the quality should never fail.

And finally, the Irish wedding video company should stand behind what they are telling you. There should be no question at all that they are the right ones for the job- from the moment that you talk to them to the minute they deliver the finished product to your hand, you must know that you have made the right choice. Do your research and investigate things like word of mouth or other feedback. Consider any company that does not have some form of feedback too risky to consider. Irish Wedding Films of DC Media has testimonials from prior clients right on their website for you to read, as well as wedding video samples to watch so that you can get an idea of how things are done. Wedding Video of Michelle and Alun

Filed under: Irish Wedding Video — admin @ 5:11 pm

What a super day we had with Michelle and Alun. The sun was splitting the rocks in the sunny southeast. We even got to shoot some footage on the beach and then it was back to the luxurious Seafield Hotel in Ballymoney.

Michelle and Alun were such a nice couple to work with. They really put so much work into the day and it really showed on their DVD!

Here are their highlights.

Irish Wedding Video: The Beauty of Your Day Forever Captured

irish wedding video

Every year on the same day in June, John and Elizabeth bring out their Irish wedding video and watch it again, reminiscing about the day and talking about their future together. One year they watched it while massaging oils on Elizabeth’s growing tummy. The following year a sleeping child joined them for their video watching party. The next year found them viewing their video in bits and pieces as they chased their young one around the room accompanied by the joyful barking of their frisky new pup.

One year, John and Elizabeth almost did not get to watch their Irish wedding video because it was hidden away in boxes in the family room of their new home. They finally found it and then went on a, seek and destroy mission to find the right cords for the DVD player. They move boxes out of the way and sit down to watch, just as they always have. Exhausted from the moving, they ended up falling asleep watching the video, curled sweetly together in the soft glow of the television.

They will continue to watch their Irish wedding video every year because it is their new tradition and because it was so beautifully done. They can go back to watch it whenever they want, whether it is their anniversary or not. However, they always go back to it because it is tradition and because they look forward to it. John and Elizabeth will watch their children grow, may even have new children as well. They may move again- or change jobs or a million other little things that may change for better or worse in their lives but the one thing they can count on as a constant is their beautiful Irish wedding video on their anniversary.

And every year that they watch their Irish wedding video, they always thank their stars that they had hired DC Media who had done their video. The clarity, eye for detail, and the amazing footage of the wedding DVD captured everything. And they have no hesitation in recommending DC Media.

Irish Wedding Video: Capturing the Special Details

irish wedding video

There are many aspects of a wedding, many little subtle nuances that cannot be caught by everyone. Perhaps you never knew that just after he handed you to your groom, your father turned to step back to his seat with a single tear glistening down his face. The Irish wedding video caught that however, and now you know that the old bear is just a little softer than he ever lets on.

Weddings are very complex human dramas, after all. There are little bits of tension. You cannot watch everything at one time, especially if you are the bride; everything is going on behind you. You focus on your groom and not mispronouncing any of the vows, but you can be relaxed knowing that one day soon you will make a pot of tea, put your feet up and watch your Irish wedding video and see what everyone else saw on that beautiful day.

An Irish wedding video by DC Media will be fully personalized as well as chapterised so that you know which parts are where- even if you plan to watch the whole thing through. The wedding itself will be the highlight of course, and will be perfectly edited to ensure that the video and audio are beautiful, crisp and clear- almost like reliving the day again.

Irish Wedding Films of DC Media has been creating wedding videos for over ten years. If you would like to read testimonials from previous clients or see wedding samples, then please visit their website at Http://www.dcmedia.ie and see what they can do for you.

Wedding Day Videography: The Best Way to Get Your Memories on Film

wedding-day-videography

There are many options to getting your wedding day memories on film or DVD. There is the hire a relative to do your wedding day videography, but that can often backfire on you. There is the have everyone snap photos with disposable cameras option. Either bride or groom could do the job. Or, you could hire a portrait painter to do the task.

Hiring a relative to do your wedding day videography is not a very good idea, because you can’t be disappointed by their job and you certainly cannot shout at them, if they do not do a good job.

Are you going to be thrilled when you get an hour long DVD of the back of Aunt Maude’s tacky hat and the slight buzzing sound of snoring from your erstwhile camera operator? Handing out the disposable cameras will backfire as well because think of it: you give out twenty or thirty of the things, hoping to get back the majority of them filled with lovely shots of the happy couple and the bridal party.
Of the thirty you actually get back 25. Five of these disposable cameras have been tucked into purses and overcoats to bring home for other events. Of the 25 you have received back, maybe half or so actually have any shots of the happy couple on them at all. The others are filled with cousin Elaine’s new baby and some little blonde you are not even sure you know. Having the bride or groom do it would mean that they are not focusing on their own wedding ceremony. And, having a portrait painter is just a silly idea; this is not the eighteenth century after all.

The better option is to hire a professional to handle your wedding day videography from the start. Someone who is qualified, experienced and has the right blend of artistic detail and professional expertise.

Perhaps, a company such as Irish Wedding Films who are professionals in every way, with an eye for detail, and a myriad of experience behind them.
